Our StoryA Coworking Space by Entrepreneurs, for Entrepreneurs
5 years ago, a group of Vietnamese students sat together in a Stanford cafeteria to draw the logo and execution summary for a DREAM: to bring entrepreneurship spirit from Silicon Valley to Vietnamese young people. The name VIET YOUTH ENTREPRENEURS (VYE) was born from there.
5 years later, a group of young people, both Vietnamese and overseas, from HCMC, Hanoi, Singapore, and London Skyped to discuss another DREAM: to build a home for the startup community in Vietnam. This home will be the the place where innovation, dreams, ideas, friendships and hard work are nurtured. This group of young people have one common traits: they have met and friended each other from various VYE activities. And, CIRCO was born from there.
Huong was the cofounder of VYE when she was freshman at Stanford University and give considerable dedication in the development of VYE in 5-year period. After 1 and a half year work in Singapore as a consultant management of Bain & Company. Huong came back to Vietnam in regard of meeting and developing potential projects here. She was rewarded in the “30 under 30” list of Forbes in 2016.
Holding the Head of Media and Management Department at VYE, Linh has also been in charge of guiding VYE for 5 years.
In former times, Linh used to be a Business Development Manager at Synectics Corporation – an enterprise of consultancy and architecture designing 3D; simultaneously, he was a cofounder of EstOffice – platform for customer care of real estate investors.
Graduated from Yale & Wharton, Geoffrey founded Choson Exchange program – a non-profit startup education organization – trained more than 1500 Korean students and awarded on Economists, Financial Times, Washington Post, TED. Choson Exchange was also considered in a situation research at Havard.
Geoffrey works at Bain & Company in Boston and a trainee at 21 Kauffman Fellow class, leadership training program in risk funding.
Before working for CirCO, Tuan was the biggest real estate investor in Vietnam of Vingroup JSC. Tuan is also the founder of 5 years “Ao am cho tree m” project, an independent charity organization, gives support to children in ethnic minority in Vietnam.
